General FAQ’s

 
  • Yes, we travel. Travel and lodging fees may apply. For any location 1.5 hours outside of Brooklyn, we will charge a travel fee.

  • You will need 30% to secure your event.

  • Our high season is from April to November; these months feature on-season pricing.
    Our down season is from December to March; these months feature off-season pricing, which is discounted from our standard rate.
    High-demand pricing is in effect on weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and not on weekdays.
    We price our weekend days as full-day rates, which can run from 7-10 hours. Anything outside 10 hours would be additional coverage.

  • Postponements happen, especially during the pandemic that we all experienced from
    2020-2021. At that time, we were able to postpone 98% of our clients’ weddings to 2021 and make everyone happy.

  • Your balance is due the day of your wedding.
    For every week the payment is delayed, there will be a 4-week delay in project delivery.

  • We have already photographed in most of the venues that people hire us for. So, we are familiar with these spaces.

    That being said, we no longer visit venues before weddings.

    If we haven’t been to your venue, we gather information online about the space to be the most efficient with everyone's time.

  • Try your hardest not to cancel your wedding since you will lose your deposit. We recommend postponing, rethinking, and then making your decision.

  • Yes, if you hire us for more than 6 hours, it will be nice to have a fast meal.

  • No, there is no drinking on the job. However, once our coverage is done, if you would like to celebrate with a toast, I’m down!

  • For every week the payment is delayed, 4 additional weeks will be added to the completion of the project.

  • No, your deposit is non-refundable.

Engagement FAQ’s

 
  • Engagement photoshoot sessions can last about 1.5 hours and are done 2 hours before sunset.
    Depending on the season, the start time may vary.

  • Engagement pictures can take up to 4 weeks to deliver.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • The client is responsible for securing any permits for any locations.


  • No, engagement photoshoot sessions aren’t included in the full-day coverage. Though, you may add an engagement session at any time

  • There are 2 packages to select from: 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours. We promote the 2.5 session for a change of outfit since it allows us to comfortably photograph you in your initial outfit, followed by a small break to change into your second outfit, and then we spend the remaining time photographing you in the last outfit.

  • If there is a possibility of rain, we will strongly suggest not to go out. If the client decides to still have their session and it rains, then the engagement session will be redone another day but with a postponement fee of $200.

  • We will find you a new date ASAP. There are clients who have rescheduled over 3 times just to find the right weather conditions. So, don’t worry. We’ve got you!

  • Can I postpone my engagement photoshoot session?
    Yes, we always encourage our clients to wait for the best weather conditions for their sessions. If it were up to us, we would photograph all our sessions on a beautiful summer evening. Refer to our engagement location articles for the best locations and tips.

  • Time varies depending on the season, but our general rule is 2 hours before sunset. Our goal is to take advantage of the golden hour.

Cinema FAQ’s

 
  • Video editing can take anywhere from 4-5 months to deliver. Our goal is always to deliver your wedding video as soon as possible.

  • Yes, we place a recorder into the DJ soundboard and mic up the pundits at the service.

  • We provide the following:

    Highlights – This is a short video that will be about 2-3 minutes long.


    Documentary edit – This edit provides you with all the formalities of the day in full, with beautiful sound and multi camera capture.


    Feature Film – This is a longer edit, usually recommended for multi-day events in replacement of a highlight.

  • Each video delivered gets one round of revisions on us. If the clients want more than 1 revision, there is an editor’s fee for this. The editor’s fee to provide another round of revisions is $200.

  • Generally, people hire us because of our style, and we mostly just produce our work with the same style that is shown to you.

  • After the delivery of your video, we will follow up with a revision form. There, will you be able to provide us with the revisions you want for your wedding video?

  • Yes, we provide you with a form so you can recommend music for your wedding video edit.

  • No, we do not provide microphones. Our recording devices are strictly to record sound for your video edit.

  • Documentary edits are as long as your formalities. The more formalities you have, the longer the event.

  • Yes, you can purchase your raw files via a Google Drive, SSD, or regular drive. Please contact us for more information.

  • Videos are kept on our database for up to 24 months. After that, it gets achieved in cold storage. A cold storage fee will apply if we have footage that must to be retrieved.

  • Depending on the season, revisions can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks to get updated.

Photography FAQ’s

 
  • We are located in Brooklyn, NY, and any destination that requires driving more than 2 hours requires a travel fee.

  • Your wedding pictures will be delivered within 12-13 weeks after your wedding.

  • In an 8-10-hour day, you are estimated to have about 800-1000 solid and edited images.

  • Your pictures are sent to you via email when editing is complete. You will be able to view them as a slideshow, download the whole collection, and upload them to your Google Drive or Dropbox.

  • Your wedding gallery is guaranteed to stay in our database for 1 year after your wedding. You are responsible for securing and saving your images after this time. How to Secure Your Wedding Pictures article.

  • Usually, clients hire J'adore Love because we are very detail-oriented, but if you feel like it’s best to provide us with images you want to make sure are replicated during your photoshoot, we welcome it.

  • We like warm images that are colorful and natural. We do light airbrushing if the client requests this on their portrait images, but we do not manipulate images. We also do not remove items from the backdrop, put things in, or take things out. We do not make things smaller or bigger.

  • No, you don't have to share our logo. However, we ask for you to tag us when you put anything on Instagram or Facebook.

  • Go to your picture gallery, select "Download,” and finally select “WEB IMAGES.” They will download my logo on the bottom left of every image.


  • You can print them on your own or directly from the online gallery.

  • Albums and tangible goods are not included in your service contract.


  • Via our contract, we do not allow any other photographers present getting in your way the day of the wedding. Our approach is very artistic and systematic, and competing with anyone at the wedding is counterproductive.
