Hidden behind iron gates on Fifth Avenue, the Conservatory Garden is Central Park's most romantic secret. Unlike the busy main paths, this formal garden feels intimate and tucked away — with wisteria pergolas, Italian fountains, and manicured flower beds that bloom beautifully from spring through fall. It photographs completely differently from Central Park, giving you an elegant, garden-party feel.
2. Conservatory Gardens (Upper East Side)
Lincoln Center is where architecture meets artistry — and it shows in every photo taken here. The grand plaza, the iconic Revson Fountain, and the elegant travertine buildings create a backdrop that feels both cinematic and sophisticated. As the sun drops and the fountain catches the last light of the day, this location transforms into something truly magical. 4: Lincoln center (Midtown)

Sunset here, looking west over the harbor, is absolutely unforgettable.

Tucked into the northern tip of Manhattan, Fort Tryon Park is one of the city's best-kept secrets. The medieval stone architecture of The Cloisters creates a backdrop unlike anything else in New York — think European romance without the flight. The park's terraced gardens and Hudson River views make this location feel worlds away from the city below.

DUMBO is arguably the most photographed neighborhood in New York City, and the view of the Manhattan Bridge framed perfectly at the end of Washington Street is iconic for a reason. At the southern tip, Four Freedoms Park is one of the most beautifully designed spaces in the entire city — just note that shooting there requires a permit, and for couples who plan ahead, it is absolutely worth every bit of the effort.
15. Prospect Park, Brooklyn
Prospect Park is Brooklyn's crown jewel — and for couples who want that lush, sprawling parkland feel without crossing into Manhattan, it delivers in every season. Designed by the same visionary duo behind Central Park, Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, this park carries over 150 years of history within its borders. The Long Meadow, the tranquil boathouse, the dense woodland ravine, and the Grand Army Plaza entrance all offer completely different moods and backdrops within a single location. In fall the foliage is breathtaking, in spring the blooms rival anything in the five boroughs. Prospect Park doesn't just give you a backdrop — it gives you a Brooklyn love story.

Fort Totten is one of the most underrated engagement session locations in all of New York City. Situated on a peninsula at the edge of Little Neck Bay, this former military fort combines Victorian-era architecture, lush green grounds, and waterfront views of Long Island Sound. Engagement sessions are welcomed here and the park's layout gives us endless creative options along the waterfront. Keep in mind that full wedding day shoots require a permit — but for couples looking for that skyline moment, this location delivers every single time.
