What 15 Years at This Venue Actually Means for You

After photographing at Crest Hollow for over 15 years I have built genuine relationships with the event managers and staff. I understand the rhythm of how this venue operates, how their events flow, and how to work within their timeline rather than against it. I already know where the best light falls at every hour, which locations photograph best in which conditions, and how to move efficiently without disrupting the pace of your day. That experience means you never have to worry about figuring things out on the day — we already know exactly what we are doing from the moment we arrive.

One Piece of Advice for Every Couple at Crest Hollow

If you are getting married at Crest Hollow and want a photographer who knows every corner of this property, works efficiently without missing a single moment, and delivers a complete elevated experience from ceremony to last dance — I would love to connect.

Your Guide to Crest Hollow — Every Location Mapped

Crest Hollow Country Club is not just another Long Island wedding venue on my calendar. After more than 15 years of photographing here I can say with complete honesty that this place still surprises me. The variety of spaces, the quality of the grounds, and the way the entire property transforms from morning to night means that no two weddings here have ever looked exactly the same. That is rare. And that is exactly why Crest Hollow remains one of the most rewarding venues I photograph year after year.

One of the things I have always wanted to give couples planning their wedding here is a clear, visual understanding of what this property actually offers. Crest Hollow has multiple distinct outdoor spaces — each with its own character, its own lighting conditions, and its own photographic opportunities. I have put together a custom location map that breaks down every major photo area on the property so you can see exactly what is available to you on your wedding day.

15 Years of Photographing Crest Hollow Country Club — A Complete Guide

Coral Beach

The moment you walk into Coral Beach it stops you. Palm trees everywhere, a waterfall filling the air with the sound of running water, and a tropical energy that makes you feel like you just landed in South Beach. It does not feel like Long Island — and that is exactly the point.
The space is generous enough to hold a full outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour comfortably, and from a photography standpoint every corner delivers. The waterfall alone adds something most venues simply do not have — natural movement, natural sound, and a backdrop that feels alive. Golden hour here is stunning. At night it becomes something else entirely.
This is consistently the space that surprises couples the most when they see it for the first time.

Day, Golden Hour & Night — The Variety Is Unmatched

Crest Hollow adapts beautifully throughout the day and that variety is one of the biggest reasons I never tire of photographing here. During the day the property is clean, classic, and elegant. As golden hour arrives everything softens — the light becomes warm and directional, and every outdoor space on the property takes on a cinematic quality that is genuinely hard to replicate.
At night Crest Hollow surprises most couples. The pool blues, the lit gardens, and the right positioning with controlled lighting create portraits that feel elevated and dramatic. Some of my favorite images from this venue have come after sunset. If your timeline allows for it — we are absolutely using it.

Poolside

If Coral Beach feels like South Beach, the Poolside area feels like a full resort vacation. Sandy beach corners, a waterfall, and a sprawling pool deck that accommodates hundreds of guests for cocktail hour make this one of the most impressive outdoor spaces on the property. The energy here is relaxed, festive, and completely transportive — you genuinely forget you are on Long Island.
During the day the space is bright, open, and endlessly photogenic. At night it becomes something different entirely — the pool lights cast deep, rich blues across the water that create some of the most stunning and unexpected backdrops of any wedding day. It is one of those locations that surprises photographers as much as it surprises couples.
Highly recommended. Day or night, this space delivers every single time.

The Gardens at Crest Hollow are one of the most sought-after spaces on the property for good reason. A beautiful lush gazebo sits at the heart of the space — elegant, intimate, and perfectly suited for outdoor ceremonies. On either side, two water fountains add a gentle, constant sound that makes the entire area feel calm and removed from everything else happening on the property.
What makes this space especially unique is the elevation. From the right angle you can look out over the pool below — a perspective that adds real depth to portraits and creates compositions you simply cannot get anywhere else on the grounds. It is one of my favorite locations for first looks specifically because of that combination — the privacy, the greenery, the sound of the water, and that elevated view. Couples who want something intimate and romantic without sacrificing beauty always end up here.

Planning Your Wedding at Crest Hollow Country Club?

Do a first look. Crest Hollow has too much to offer to leave your portrait time to chance. If you do not set aside at least an hour — ideally more — for portraits before your reception begins, you will walk away wishing you had more time in these spaces. The first look gives us that time. It creates a calm, intentional window before the energy of the day accelerates — and it consistently produces some of the most genuine and beautiful images of the entire wedding.
